–       Smoked Caciocavallo (a type of stretched-curd cheese made out of sheep’s or cow’s milk. It is produced throughout Southern Italy

–       Matured Pecorino (Pecorino is the name of a family of hard Italian cheeses made from ewe’s milk. The word derives from pecora meaning ‘sheep’, also from the Latin pecora meaning livestock.)

Special Wine of the month

Grillo, Feudo d’Elimi, Sicily 2010 (White)

Grillo is the name of the white grape variety most typical of Western Sicily. A fabulous, complex wine with intense floral and tropical fruit flavours. This wine makes a perfect accompaniment to most Mediterranean cuisine.
