Pizzeria San Marco is proud to announce we are now serving 100% free range Irish buffalo meat from Toons Bridge Dairy, Macroom.
Kilnamartyra Farmer John Lynch has successfully converted his herd from cattle to water buffalo and now produces Ireland’s only buffalo mozzarella and buffalo ricotta which has proven to be very popular in Pizzeria San Marco.
Now, however, we are delighted to announce that this weekend, during the Midleton Food Festival, we will be also be serving delicious homemade buffalo burgers.
Buffalo meat is indistinguishable from beef, however, it is extremely lean, lower in cholesterol and higher in mineral content than meat from cattle.
